QuickBooks Error 9999

Today I encountered an error while updating some baking information. When this error occur it was showing an error message “QuickBooks Error 9999: information cannot be updated” . I need help to resolve this error it will be great if you help me solve this issue.

  • Accidentally removed the QuickBooks records

Steps To Fix QuickBooks Error 9999:

Steps 1: Log a report

  • Tap on ‘Report Issue’ when the error message appears
  • Fill all the required details and then enter on submit button
  • You will be contacted by the QuickBooks Tech Support team within 10 days.

Step 2: Remove the account

  • Remove the QBO account from your actual bank
  • Tap on the pencil icon on the highlighted account which is getting updated
  • Then click on ‘Edit Account Info’
  • Click on ‘Disconnect this account on save’
  • Click on save and close the window
  • Now go to the Dashboard
  • Re-establish the link that you have disconnected from the bank
  • Now click on ‘Add Account’ from the actual account to re-establish the link with QBO.
  • You need to enter the credentials for your account in order to use the bank account
  • Once you are done with it, the bank account will be updated in the QBO account
